WBFP

Web-Based Flight Platform (WBFP) is a hardware platform for developing different kind of drones with the capability of connecting to each other and creating swarm network based on the internet.

WBFP provides you with the required input/output ports, internal sensors like MPU, SIM Card slot,  and a USB port for deploying your mission program. WBFP has two different processors; one for flight control and another for mission planning and communications. By installing WBFP flight control software based on your drone type, you will be able to focus only on your mission and leave the flight to WBFP.

WBFP provides you with the access to sensors for special mission plans, and flight control system with simple functions like TakeOff(), Land(), GoTo(lat, long), SetHeight(alt), Yaw(45), etc.

Currently the 2nd version of WBFP is under development, which is smaller(45*45mm) and lighter than 1st version. We have replace MPU 6050 with MPU 9250 to provide more accurate results with higher sampling rate. This version is designed to provide you with 6 ports for controlling brushless or servo motor, 8 ports for RC which can be used for other devices if you wish to control the drone by the internet only. There are 4 pins for other inputs like GPS sensors. There are TX/RX ports embedded in this version as well. Two ATMEGA328P-AU will power the flight control and mission control. Just like version 1 you can use Arduino libraries to program your mission and control the drone.

Control in web

Bring drones to web

Using WBFP you can break the limits, control and moderate your swarm systems in web with great capabilities of connection to other IoT devices.

WBFP v0.1

Prototype

A prototype of WBFP is deployed on quadrotors with remote internet-based moderation and control. Using WBFP it was possible to send remote commands to the quadcopter to initiate and stop its pre-defined mission even using 2G or GPRS network.

Swarm power

More, better!

Capabilities of drone swarms and groups of UAVs is beyond imagination. WBFP enables swarm deployment for a wide range of applications using current web platform.
